š„ Headline Match: Manchester City vs. Aston Villa
šļø Etihad Stadium | š 8:00 PM BST / 12:00 PM PT
š„Ŗ Man City Sandwiched
City sit 5th on 58 points just one point ahead of Villa and Chelsea and one behind Newcastle. They will be feeling the squeeze every match now. After a 2ā0 win over Everton, Pepās side look like theyāre stabilizing⦠but they have been a shadow of their former selves this season. Haalandās still outā¦which wonāt help anything. (Arsenal fans please stop snickering)
š¦
Unai Emeryās men are coming in hot after a 4ā1 dismantling of Newcastle. They're just one point off City and would leapfrog them and Newcastle all the way into 4th place with a win today. Villa actually beat City 2ā1 earlier this season and theyāll believe they can do it again. Ollie Watkins is flying high after his MOTM performance on Saturday. He scored 30 seconds into the gameā¦.letās see if he can top that today.
š³ Villa Loves Springtime:
Villa are playing lights out footy at the moment, just look at their games from the month of April: 3-0 Win vs Brighton, 2-1 Win vs Forest, 0-3 Win vs Southampton, 3-2 Win vs PSG, 4-1 Win vs Newcastle! (the did lose once this month to PSG in their first leg of the Champions League 3-1)
š UCL Implications
This oneās massive.
With Arsenal and Liverpool pulling away, the final three Champions League spots, are up for grab from 5 teams. Forest, Newcastle, City, Chelsea, Villa. Most of whom will Itās going to be a BRUTAL finish to the season and all 5 teams have a chance. They all will play at least one of the other 4 team teams in contention from now till the end of the season.

A City win gives them breathing room and momentum with an easy run-in.
A Villa win puts them 4th and piles the pressure on absolutley everyone else.
Itās getting heat is cranking here at the end of the season, someoneās going to have to get out of the kitchen.
