Liverpool was able to steady the ship last weekend, beating West Ham 2-0. Salah starting on the bench grabbed the headlines, but with four games in ten days, Slot didn’t have much choice. Isak scored his first Premier League goal for the club, Wirtz looked alive again, and for the first time in weeks Liverpool looked like…Liverpool. Momentum feels like their most valuable asset right now.

Sunderland come in riding a high after a wild, last-second win over Bournemouth — their first ever Premier League comeback from two goals down. The Black Cats look fearless, and they’ve shown they won’t panic even when the tides against them.

This is the kind of game you take an extra long lunch brake at work for and then hide your phone under a table to keep watching during the 1pm sales meeting.
