Matchweek 37

Two crazy unbeaten streaks clash, and a chance for the champions to be crowned.

The penultimate weekend of the Premier League is here and what a ride it has been… VAR did a great job of confusing us all on what a foul in the box actually looks like, Arsenal look set to win their first league title in 22 years, so many coaches were fired this year we thought Donald Trump was running the league.

There is a lot to play for this weekend with a chance for both the champions to be crowned and relegation to be finalized. Let’s get to it.

Matchweek 37 Fixtures

Wednesday, May 13

πŸŒ™ Manchester City 3-0 πŸ¦… Crystal Palace - FINAL

Friday, May 15

β• Aston Villa vs πŸ”΄ Liverpool β€” 12:00 PM β€” NBC
Both sides are inside the top five but they aren’t playing at their best. (both teams are coming off a draw and loss over their last two games) The Reds haven't won their final away league game in any of the last three seasons. Villa, for their part, haven't lost their final home match in any of their six seasons back in the top flight (a record they'll be desperate to protect)

Saturday, May 16

πŸŸ₯ Manchester United vs 🌲 Nottingham Forest β€” 4:30 AM β€” USA

🐝 Brentford vs πŸ¦… Crystal Palace β€” 7:00 AM β€” Peacock

🟦 Everton vs πŸˆβ€β¬› Sunderland β€” 7:00 AM β€” Peacock

πŸ¦‰ Leeds vs 🐧 Brighton β€” 7:00 AM β€” USA

🐺 Wolves vs 🏠 Fulham β€” 7:00 AM β€” Peacock

⚫️ Newcastle vs βš’οΈ West Ham β€” 9:30 AM β€” NBC
Two points behind Spurs, the Hammers are in desperate need of points with their probability of relegation sitting at 81.5%. West Ham haven't scored in three straight away games, and Newcastle hasn’t suffered back to back home losses to them since 1998…it’s going to have to take something REALLY special.

Sunday, May 17

πŸ”« Arsenal vs 🟣 Burnley β€” 12:00 PM β€” USA
Not much to say here… Arsenal all the way.

Monday, May 18

πŸ’ Bournemouth vs πŸŒ™ Manchester City β€” 11:30 AM β€” USA
City arrive unbeaten in 14 and boasting a 94.1% all-time win rate against Bournemouth (the highest of any side against another in Premier League history). But Bournemouth are unbeaten in 16 themselves, and memorably beat City in this exact fixture last season. If Arsenal win on Monday, City also must win or the Gunners will be crowned champions. making Bournemouth's 29.9% upset probability suddenly very interesting.

🦁 Chelsea vs πŸ“ Tottenham β€” 12:15 PM β€” NBC
Chelsea snapped a six-game losing streak with a draw against Liverpool last weekend! (queue pathetic golf clap) and will be riding their massive wave of momentum through this match (note sarcasm) . Granted they've only lost one of their last 35 home league games against Spurs. Tottenham arrive playing arguably the best footy they’ve played all season, but still one slip up away from the the relegation zone. They have lost all five of their most recent league meetings with the Blues, but if they find a win here, I think it will be safe to say that they are safe…I’d say. (Unsubscribe button is below)
