Matchweek 5 Fixtures

This week has plenty to see and is clearly one of the best matchweeks of the year, we’ve highlighted three matches for your enjoyment.

Saturday, September 20.

πŸ”΄ Liverpool vs πŸ”΅ Everton – 4:30 AM – USA
Fun Fact, Liverpool have only lost one of their last 28 home games against Everton. An even funner (not a real word) fact, Liverpool’s last five wins have all come from goals in the 80th min or later. It’s as if they are using a magic ring to get them out of tight places. But they have a long way to go before they can claim the treasure inside the Lonely Mountain, lets see if their luck will hold up.

🐧 Brighton vs πŸŒ™ Manchester City – 7:00 AM – Peacock

🍷 Burnley vs 🌲 Forest – 7:00 AM – Peacock

βš’ West Ham vs πŸ¦… Crystal Palace – 7:00 AM – USA

🐺 Wolves vs πŸ¦‰ Leeds – 7:00 AM – Peacock

πŸ”΄ Manchester United vs 🦁 Chelsea – 9:30 AM – USA
The most tied fixture in PL history (27) has plenty to talk about…

  • Garnacho returns to Old Trafford for the first time since switching.

  • Reuben Amorin has 31 pts and -13 goal differential in his 31 games with United.

  • Chelsea are shaky after two poor results (2-2 tie Brentford, and 3-1L to Bayern Munich) last week.

This could be make or break match for Amorin, desperate to gain hold of a Precious win.

🏠 Fulham vs 🐝 Brentford – 12:00 PM – USA

Sunday, September 21.

πŸ’ AFC Bournemouth vs ⚫ Newcastle – 6:00 AM – USA

πŸˆβ€β¬› Sunderland vs 🦁 Aston Villa – 6:00 AM – Peacock

 πŸ”«Arsenal vs πŸŒ™ Manchester City – 8:30 AM – Peacock
The clear match of the week brings about Haaland Oakenshield and his resilient army of Dwarves taking on the beautiful but powerful Elven Arsenal squad. (Arteta clearly has elf in him)

Both teams did well midweek to win their CL matchups and will come into this match full of confidence. Haaland has five goals to his name already this season, but he comes up against a defense that has only conceded one goal this campaign.

City have lost five of their last seven league games after midweek European games. (Including a 5-1 defeat at Arsenal in February) and Arsenal have won their last two home games against City.

Expect plenty of work from both teams elite shot stoppers, Donnarumma (City) and Raya (Ars) in what could be the first real test for both players.

Three Must See Tweets…

No Extra Slice this week, enjoy the matches and remember to keep it secret, keep it safe.
