Who has gone 19 games unbeaten? Liverpool/Chelsea match of the week!
Hello! This week we’re following the U.S. government’s lead and cutting out everything non-essential. So if you came here for Gandalf memes or stories about 20-something billionaire owners… maybe next week.

Always a big match, this one is no different primarily due to the fact both teams are coming off of upsets last week. We are only 7 weeks in, and both teams injury lists are reading like a CVS receipt (Chelsea (7) Liverpool (4)). Most notably Alisson, Chiesa, and Palmer will miss the game for their respective clubs. Hopefully Palmer brings another gem out of his closet like what he wore this week. Puffers are so hot right now.
Liverpool is the slight favorite going into the match, but hopefully we can expect an open and scoring affair from both sides. In their last 5 matches both teams have scored a combined total of 14 goals.

Well if you haven’t heard yet, let me be the first to break it to you Crystal Palace is good…like pretty pretty good. Palace have gone nineteen games unbeaten starting back in April. What’s more impressive who exactly they’ve been up against, the quality of wins. This includes two wins over Liverpool including a Community Shield trophy, an FA Cup Final win against City, plus draws at Arsenal and Chelsea.
This is the same team that hadn’t won a major trophy in 119 years, up until last season.
How are they doing this? Here are a few standout points:
No Ball? No Problem. - They average 39% possession/game, the 2nd lowest in the league. But they force turnovers at midfield and counter hard and fast.
Smart Lads - Englishmen Adam Wharton and Marc Guéhi, are playmakers that would be welcomed in any PL side. Let their match last week speak for itself.
It is too soon to make any rash predictions (no matter how badly I want to), but It is safe to say that every team should be warned; Palace are a force to be reckoned with.
Till next time!
