Liv vs Man U, and meet the German Peter Crouch.
At this point we are losing track of all the international breaks. But as if to say, “we missed you and were sorry for being away so much,” the Premier League is gifting us with an absolute banger of a weekend.
Enjoy,

Matchweek 8 Fixtures
Saturday, October 18
🌲 Forest vs 🦁 Chelsea – 4:30 AM – USA
Postecoglou has had no honeymoon phase in his new role with Forest, having lost four of his first five matches (D1) and scoring Zero goals in said losses. Chelsea is hot after their win over Liverpool, but is reeling from the news that Chilly Palmer is out for another six weeks.
🐧 Brighton vs ⚫ Newcastle – 7:00 AM – USA
Nick Woltemade has been a shinning star for the Magpies with three goals in four games. The 6’6” German lad has been compared to a camel and a battering ram by the media, maybe we should add fox in the box.
🍷 Burnley vs 🦉 Leeds – 7:00 AM – Peacock
🦅 Palace vs 🍒 Bournemouth – 7:00 AM – Peacock

🌙 Manchester City vs 🔵 Everton – 7:00 AM – Peacock
Jacks back… but don’t celebrate just yet... Sadly Mr. Grealish can’t play against his parent club due to him being on loan. 😭
🐈⬛ Sunderland vs 🐺 Wolverhampton Wanderers – 7:00 AM – Peacock
🏠 Fulham vs 🦈 Arsenal – 9:30 AM – NBC
Sunday, October 19
🐓 Tottenham vs 🦁 Aston Villa – 6:00 AM – USA
🔴 Liverpool vs 🔴 Manchester United – 8:30 AM – USA
Liverpool looks to be massive favorites but that won’t take away any of the excitement from the rivalry. Arne Slot’s men have lost three straight (first time ever in his managerial career) in all comps. United should be looking to pounce but sadly they are winless in their last eight away games.
Monday, October 20

Extra Slice
Crystal Palace vs. Bournemouth might not scream “blockbuster” matchup, but it’s quietly one of the Premier League’s more interesting games of the weekend. Jurgen Klopp was quoted as saying Oliver Glasner and Andoni Iraola are “doing miracles” managing their clubs. Well he’s not wrong; on the wage table, Palace and Bournemouth sit 14th and 16th, yet on the actual table, they’re punching way up at fourth and sixth.
Glasner’s Palace are no longer just mid-table mash. They’ve lifted the FA Cup, shattered club records, and turned Jean-Philippe Mateta into a bona fide goal poacher. Iraola, meanwhile, has done what seemed impossible: make Bournemouth one of the league’s most annoying teams to face. Even after selling half their back line and star striker, they’ve stayed dangerous with sharp pressing, direct play. Their only loss of the season coming from their opener against Liverpool
Both teams tactical genius is funnily enough contradicting the Premier League commonly accepted Pep inspired playbook. Long balls, counters, and chaos are back in fashion and the Premier League’s great disruptors are leading the rebellion. Some would call it “anti-possession football,” or ugly, but winning looks beautiful to the victors. Read More Here
