🔥 Headline Match Arsenal vs. Newcastle
🔴 Arsenal Barely Holding On
Arsenal's grip on second place is under siege. After a 2-2 draw at Anfield, the Gunners sit just two points ahead of Newcastle. They are also without a win in their last five matches. Injuries to key players like Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Magalhães have tested their depth, but the return of Kai Havertz could provide a much-needed boost. Mikel Arteta just needs a win (literally and figuratively) to keep the season from ending on even more of a bummer.
⚫ Newcastle’s On the Up and Up
Eddie Howe's Newcastle are pretty… pretty… good. With 19 points from their last eight matches, they've been formidable, scoring 21 goals and conceding just seven. Alexander Isak, with 23 league goals, is in red-hot form, and a victory at the Emirates would see them leapfrog Arsenal into 2nd place.
📊 Match Insights
Arsenal have lost only one of their last 20 home league games against Newcastle.
Newcastle won the reverse fixture 1-0 and aim for their first league double over Arsenal since 1994-95.
Both teams have seen over 2.5 goals in the majority of their recent matches, suggesting a high-scoring affair.
⚽ Elsewhere in the League
Everton vs. Southampton
The Saints travel to Goodison Park in what will be Everton’s last match played at the historic grounds. For context, Everton first played at Goodison in 1892, and there have been 2,327th top-flight matches in at the grounds affectionately known as “The Grand Old Lady”.
🛠️ West Ham vs. Forest
West Ham look to build on their recent win over Man U as they face a struggling Forest. Fresh off a tie with Leicester, Forest look a shell of their former selves. Hopefully their owner stays off the field for this one. (Sauce) Forest are still in the hunt for a European spot, but will need some help from above...
🐝 Brentford vs. Fulham
A West London derby sees Brentford take on Fulham. Both teams are safely mid-table, but local pride is at stake in this fixture.
🦊 Leicester vs. Ipswich
Sitting 18th and 19th, both teams are tied on points, but a win for Leicester would see them rise up into 18th which is a goal to aim for at least.

For 119 years, Crystal Palace waited. And now, at long last, the Eagles are buzzing with their first-ever major trophy, stunning Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup Final at Wembley. The story wasn’t about domination, but defiance. City controlled 88.3% of the ball in the opening 15 minutes, completed 384 passes in the final third, and won a penalty, but Palace just didn’t break.
Dean Henderson made history with the first FA Cup final penalty save in 15 years, while Chris Richards delivered a defensive masterclass with 12 clearances, the joint-most by a Palace player all season. Eberechi Eze, who has now scored in five straight matches, was the match-winner with a cool first-half finish, capping a vintage Palace counterattack.
Oliver Glasner’s team won by being exactly who they’ve been all season: gritty, organized, and fearless. Finally, after all the near-misses, heartbreaks, and rebuilds, that identity was enough to earn their first ever piece of major silverware.
