🔥 Headline Match: Brighton vs Liverpool
Seagulls thriving at the Amex
Brighton come into their final home match of the season in solid form, with just one loss in their last seven at the Amex. They’ve spread the goals around this year with 17 different Premier League scorers, more than any other team. Kaoru Mitoma could return to the squad, and Danny Welbeck is back in form as he's scored or assisted in four of his last five appearances against the Reds.
Brighton's strength late in games is a double-edged sword. They’ve scored 13 goals in the final 10 minutes, second only to Bournemouth, but they’ve also conceded 13 in that same window. So basically I won’t be tuning in until the 80th minute.
🔴 Liverpool: Slot’s final away test
Arne Slot won’t confirm his starting XI, and with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure looming, there are questions about whether he’ll start in his final away game. The Reds are trying to avoid going three league matches without a win for the first time this season, and recent away form has wobbled, they’ve dropped two of their last three on the road.
Still, Liverpool never lost their final away league match under Jurgen Klopp, and will want to continue that trend with Arne. A goal here would mean they’ve scored in every away game this season, a club first. If Salah starts, it’ll be his 300th Premier League appearance, and he’s chasing history too: one more away goal gives him the most in a single PL season.
Salah Tracker 🔎
🥅 Single-Season Goal Contribution (G+A)
Two games left and Salah is apparently building suspense. He has 46 goal contributions breaking the single-season record of 44. But is struggling to get the three assists needed to set the season high assist record (which stands at 20).
He was doing great until we started tracking his numbers in here in the Prem Report…coincidence?
