⚽Will the title be decided today?
📨Matchweek 34/38 Liverpool could seal the league, Man U needs to stop the bleeding.

Good Morning,
Today could be “the” day, as Liverpool have the chance to raise the Premier League trophy. But while everyone’s buzzing about the soon-to-be champions, spare a thought for the three relegated teams making the trip back down to the Championship. It’s like winning the lottery… then losing it all on NFTs of dinosaurs crossed with farm animals so you have to move back in with your parents…Thanks Jake Paul.

Matches
🔴 Liverpool vs. Tottenham Hotspur
🏟️ Anfield | 🕓 4:30 PM BST / 8:30 AM PT
Liverpool: One Point Away from Glory
Liverpool need just a draw to secure their 20th top-flight title. Which might be the lamest way to win it, but thanks to Arsenals tie against Palace, (who just made the FA Cup Final!!) the door is open. Liverpool has scored in 29 consecutive Premier League games and don’t look as though that streak will stop any time soon.
Tottenham: Could be Party Poopers
Tottenham have lost four of their last five league games and are without captain Son Heung-min due to a foot injury. Hopefully they are able to focus on today’s match and are not distracted by their upcoming Europa League semi-final.
⚽ AFC Bournemouth vs. Manchester United
🏟️ Vitality Stadium | 🕑 2:00 PM BST / 6:00 AM PT
Bournemouth: Go For It
The Cherries are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games against United (W2 D1). A win today would bump them from 10th up to 8th place ,which, as we mentioned in yesterday’s edition, could mean an extra $7 million in merit payments.
Man U: Avoiding Bad to Worse
United have failed to score in 13 Premier League games this season, their most since 1989-90. Their injury list is longer than an Albertsons grocery receipt, with seven first-team players out. They've also already set a team record for most losses in a season (15). We’re looking for a silver lining...
Post of the Day
Jürgen Klopp once finished second in the Premier League with 97 points.
Arne Slot could win the title with just 80 😲

⬇️ Relegation Anomaly or New Norm?
For the second straight season, all three clubs promoted to the Premier League have been relegated immediately:
2023-24: Luton Town, Sheffield United, and Burnley
2024-25: Southampton, Leicester City, and Ipswich Town
Historically, this is incredibly rare. From 1898–1997, it never happened. It first occurred in 1997-98, but hadn’t repeated until last season (and now again this year).
Sadly, the current relegation group is setting all kinds of negative records 😬:
Southampton set a new record for earliest relegation (with 7 games remaining).
All three clubs were relegated with four matchweeks to go, earlier than any other season in Premier League history.
Based on points-per-game, this year’s bottom three are projected to finish with just 56 points combined, the fewest ever, breaking last season’s record (66 points).
Across Europe's top leagues (La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1), it’s almost unheard of for all promoted clubs to be immediately relegated. The Premier League has become BRUTAL for newly promoted teams. Well if you can’t take the heat….
Salah Tracker 🔎
🥅 Single-Season Goal Contribution (G+A): Salah still sits on 45 goal contributions. We’ll see how much he can add with the remaining 5 games left.
He’s still 3 assists away the Premier League record for most assists in a season. Tick Tick
